✧ Nanaya Mizuhane ✧

Even though I was born in late 2002, I've always really liked the Windows 98 aesthetic.

Back when I was a teenager around 2016–2018 and started getting into computers, my mom found a thick old PC book published in 2001. Even though I knew it would be mostly useless nowadays, I decided to skim through it out of pure curiosity.

That was where I first truly got introduced to the unique Windows 98 interface and learned about long-lost artifacts of that era — floppy disks, dial-up, ball mice, PS/2 ports, and so much more. There was always something captivating about those old machines.

Later on, I had the idea to create my own Windows 98 fan mascot, carrying that distinct atmosphere of a retro operating system. That's how Nanaya came to life.
