Alessia is my very first original character. Since childhood, I’ve had a deep affection for Italy — I genuine love everything about the country: its architecture, landscapes, music, rich culture, and so much more. Honestly, if I ever had the chance, I’d love to live there. However, despite what people often assume, I am not Italian myself.
Alessia originally came to mind almost as a joke. I initially generated her design in AI just for fun, but over time, I decided to set up a dedicated account for her, hoping it might help me connect with friends from Italy.
Her design went through several iterations before finally landing on the familiar look she has today. What started as a small personal experiment unexpectedly grew as people from all over the world began following her, turning it into a full-fledged blog. It’s truly rewarding to see so many people sharing a love for this character and Italian aesthetics.
